Collision involving motorcycle results in life-threatening injuries

LETHBRIDGE – A 51-year-old Nobleford man is fighting for his life after a collision involving a motorcycle.

It happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 18. Lethbridge Police say the man was riding westbound on 3 Ave S. when his motorcycle collided with a Volkswagen Jetta that was attempting to turn east from 12 B St. S.

The motorcycle operator was thrown from the bike, sustaining life-threatening head and spinal injuries. He’s since been transported to Calgary and was in critical condition at last word.

Police are continuing to investigate, but say charges are pending.
