MEDICINE HAT – A suspicious item left in front of a financial institution led to a lenghty street closure in Medicine Hat's Crescent Heights neighbourhood Thursday, Oct. 26.

The item was found outside Servus Credit Union on 8th St. NW shortly after 4 p.m.

Southeastern Alberta receives $2.1 million for flood mitigation

MEDICINE HAT - Southeastern Alberta is getting $2.1 million from the provincial government for flood mitigation efforts.

The four provincial grants were announced at City Hall Monday afternoon by Environment and Parks Minister Shannon Phillips.
