Aggressive wildfires in East Kootenay for pull out of fire crews

CRANBROOK, B.C. -  Crews have been pulled off three wildfires burning near Elko due to safety concerns.

The fires burning southeast of the community continue to grow, with the Lodgepole wildfire the largest at 1,751 hectares.

East Kootenay Lamb Creek blaze growing - 400+ properties under evacuation order

CRANBROOK, B.C. -  Over 400 properties in the East Kootenay region remain under evacuation orders due to several wildfires.

The majority of the affected properties are in the north and south Moyie area which are being threatened by the growing Lamb Creek wildfire.
