CALGARY –  There’s a Lethbridge connection to the team that will represent Canada in men’s hockey at the Pyeongchang Olympics.

Local wrestlers bring home 23 medals from meet in Medicine Hat over the weekend

LETHBRIDGE - Lethbridge wrestlers from elementary, junior high and high school all competed in the Medicine Hat Hawks Classic this past Saturday, and returned home with 23 total medals.

In total, the athletes won 13 Gold, 6 Silver and 4 Bronze.

Pronghorns men's hockey team splits weekend series against second best team in Canada West

LETHBRIDGE - The University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men's hockey team opened the first weekend of the second semester in Canada West with a split on home ice against the Saskatchewan Huskies.

TORONTO - The death of Hockey Hall of Famer Johnny Bower has unleashed a flood of tributes from within the hockey world and beyond.

The Toronto Maple Leafs legend died on Tuesday after a short battle with pneumonia, according to a statement from his family. He was 93.

LETHBRIDGE - Following a disastrous 1-8-1-0 start to the season thanks to injuries and some bad bounces, the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns men's hockey team won five of six games heading into the holiday break.
