Construction wrapping up for the season at new Legacy Park

LETHBRIDGE - By this time next year, Lethbridge's first dedicated outdoor skating rink could be open to the public.

It will be just one of the many amenities located in Legacy Park in the city's north end.

LETHBRIDGE - University of Lethbridge Athletics Director Ken McInnes is hoping to put the Pronghorns Hockey Team on the national map, with a bid for the U Sports Men's Hockey National Championships in 2019 and 2020.

LETHBRIDGE - A group of 19 Lethbridge community leaders, including members of City Council, Exhibition Park and post-secondary officials, along with representatives of the Allied Arts Council have wrapped up a three-day visit to the Legislature in Edmonton.

UPDATE: Flyover cancelled, but other Remembrance Day plans to proceed

LETHBRIDGE - The city announced Thursday, Nov. 9 that the flypast by the Globemaster scheduled for Remembrance Day services in Lethbridge has been cancelled, due to a "change in operational requirements." All other plans will proceed.
