Police locate driver involved in alleged hit and run

LETHBRIDGE, AB- Lethbridge Police asked the public for assistance to help locate the driver in connection to an alleged hit and run from October 17th.

Police found the Chevrolet Silverado with the driver not far away.

LPS reported the collision happened October 17 at around 8:50 a.m. in the intersection of South Parkside Drive and Parkside Drive South.

The suspect vehicle fled the scene, according to police, and is a red 2014-2018 Chevrolet Silverado, four-door ½ truck with “obvious front-end damage”.

Police say the vehicle is missing its front grill, passenger side headlight and signal light. A photo of a similar-looking truck, provided by LPS, can be seen below.
