Pair of Hurricanes Crack NHL’s Midseason Scouting Report

LETHBRIDGE: Lethbridge Hurricanes forwards Brayden Burke and Egor Babenko are both listed on the NHL’s midterm Central Scouting rankings.

19 year old Burke, who leads the Hurrcianes in scoring this season with 66 points in 45 games, appears at number 68.

The Edmonton product is tied for second in league scoring and leads the WHL in assists and powerplay assists.

Babenko, 18, comes in at 77. The rookie from Tyumen, Russia has tallied 54 points in 45 games this campaign.

The newcomer leads all WHL rookies in points, goals and assiststs and is eighth in league scoring.

Burke and Babenko are two of 42 WHL skaters to make the North American list.

Lethbridge puts its seven game winning streak on the line when the Spokane Chiefs visit the Enmax Centre Wednesday.
