Coadale Takes Over Photo Radar Service

LETHBRIDGE: RCMP and Town staff have begun managing the photo radar service for Coaldale.

The City of Lethbridge and Lethbridge Police had overlooked the service until their contract expired at the end of last month.

Town CAO Kalen Hastings says there are multiple benefits for taking over the service such as bringing all aspects traffic safety under one roof now that the RCMP is Coaldale’s police provider and it will cut operational costs.

Hastings says the RCMP will determine through their Traffic Safety Plan the frequency and locations of the photo radar in Coaldale.
