Semi Strikes Overpass with Full Load

LETHBRIDGE – A semi packed with hay bales struck the overpass in the southbound lanes of Mayor Magrath Dr, between 1st and 2nd Avenue North, just before 1:00 Tuesday Morning.

The truck’s load was not only wide but, also exceeded the height clearance.

There were no reports of injury, however, the semi unit and resulting clean-up resulted in the south-bound lanes of Mayor Magrath being blocked until mid afternoon.
