Ag Expo Kicks Off On Wednesday

LETHBRIDGE – Ag Expo will take over Exhibition Park later this week.

About 15,000 to 20,000 people are expected to attend the three day event featuring farm machinery, livestock supplies, chemicals, seeds, and irrigation equipment.

There will be over 350 exhibitors set up in 100,000 square feet of covered indoor space, as well people can walk around 150,000 square feet of outdoor machinery space. The North American Seed Fair will also be on display once again.

Manager Doug Kryzanowski thinks the low dollar might help attract new business. “We’ve extended our marketing and our advertising into northern Montana with the exchange of the Canadian dollar. We anticipate, probably, a little more busier traffic flow through the border, maybe even through Idaho and over through the Dakotas for our show. We’re one of the last two or three shows on the circuit so it is a good time before all the farmers get into the field,” Kryzanowski adds.
