LETHBRIDGE: Lethbridge Hurricanes Captain Tyler Wong is leading by example.
The Western Hockey League announced Monday that the 20 year old forward has been named the Player of the Week for the week ending February 28th, which just happens to be Wong’s birthday.
Wong amassed 10 points, 3 goals and 7 assists, in three games over the week as the Hurricanes posted a 1-1-0-1 record.
The majority of the production came Wednesday night when Wong had a career outing, recording six points in the Canes’ 9-8 shootout loss to the Regina Pats.
