LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Police Service has charged a member of the Blood Tribe Police Service.

On April 7, LPS charged Inspector Francis Joseph Many Fingers with aiding and abetting breach of a condition of a recognizance.

Lethbridge Police says this matter is domestic-related and won’t comment further.

Blood Tribe Police Chief Lee Boyd has pointed out that Many Fingers was suspended with pay pending the outcome of the investigation and criminal charge.

Once the Lethbridge Police Service has concluded the matter, a Police Service regulation investigation will be undertaken by the Blood Tribe Police to determine if the circumstances surrounding the criminal charge being laid warrant disciplinary action.
