Hurricanes Bench Boss Named Head Coach for Team Canada White at Upcoming Tournament

LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge Hurricanes Head Coach Brent Kisio will be behind the bench for Team Canada White at the 2016 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
Kisio was named head coach for the squad at the tournament, which runs from October 30 until November 5 in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario.
The 33-year old guided the Hurricanes to a Central Division title and into the playoffs in his first season as head coach of the WHL club. He was also the runner up to Victoria bench boss, Dave Lowry, as coach of the year.
It will be his first time serving as a head coach for Hockey Canada, after working as an assistant for Team Pacific at the 2013 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge.
