Final Medal Count Announced for Southern Alberta Summer Games

LETHBRIDGE – The Southern Alberta Summer Games wrapped up this weekend.

Four days of competitive sports action took place at venues across Lethbridge, as well as the neighbouring areas of Readymade and Magrath.

More than 1,400 medals were awarded to the more than 2,200 athletes that took part from all corners of southern Alberta.

The City of Lethbridge took top spot in the medal count earning a games-high 370 medals. The M.D. of Taber was second with 226 medals and the M.D. of Willow Creek managed to finish third with 134 medals. (You can see the final medal count by clicking on the picture on the right)
