Four People Charged after RCMP Make Large Drug Seizure in Pincher Creek

PINCHER CREEK:   RCMP seized a large quantity of controlled substances after a vehicle stop for a serious traffic violation.

The vehicle stop happened around 4:00-pm Saturday (July 17th).

The driver of the vehicle, 21-year old Sebastion ARANZALEZ of  Calgary, was arrested for not having a drivers licence, having open liquor in the vehicle, and for careless driving.
 
Officers found a back pack in the vehicle that contained about three ounces of Methamphetamine, nearly two ounces of Crack Cocaine, approximately 200 fentanyl pills,  a small amount of marijuana, and a large amount of cash.
 
Charged with possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking are:
 
Sebastion Aranzalez of Calgary, 22 year old  Ruairi McGinnity of Lethbridge, 39-year old  Christie Reed and  40 year old Sherri Lagrandeur, both of Pincher Creek.
 
Aranzalez is also charged with driving with no valid licence, and careless driving.
 
All four were released with conditions on a Recognizance with future court dates to appear in Pincher Creek Provincial Court.
 
This quantity and the type of drug is a serious concern to the RCMP and the community.
