Hurricanes shutout the Hitmen Satruday night

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Hurricanes are tied for top spot with the Medicine Hat Tigers in the Central Division, with six points each. Both teams are 4-3-1 so far in the season.
The Canes came off 5-4 home victory on Friday night over the Kootenay Ice to shut-out the Calgary Hitmen on Saturday.
Stuart Skinner stopped all 34 shots his way and Ryley Lindgren scored twice as the Hurricanes drubbed Calgary 4-0.
Tyler Wong added a goal and two helpers and Egor Babenko also scored to round out the Lethbridge (3-1-0) offence.
Cody Porter stopped 22-of-25 shots for the Hitmen (2-1-0).
Hurricane skaters Kord Pankewicz and Brady Reagan and Calgary’s Andrew Fyten and Taylor Sanheim were handed game misconducts at 16;15 of the third.
