Dec 24, 2016 | 10:44 AM

LETHBRIDGE – The staff and volunteers at Interfatih Food Bank, Salvation Army and Lethbridge Foodbank are thanking the public for their generosity this holiday season.

Over 1400 households have been provided with food and 1700 toy bundles were distributed by the trio of agencies.

While the agencies have been able to meet the demands for Christmas Hampers, additional support will be needed with the new year.

Financial contributions made by Dec 31st will also be receipted for the 2016 tax year.

As the agencies will be closed between Christmas and New Years, Streets Alive (403) 320-1159 will be available for emergency assistance.

Interfaith Food Bank, Lethbridge Food Bank and the Salvation Army will all be closed from Dec. 24 – Jan 2nd.
