LETHBRIDGE – A local lawyer has been appointed chair of Lethbridge College’s board of governors.

Kristin Ailsby has been a member of the bar in Alberta since 2003, with a Bachelor of Laws degree and a Masters of Arts in the Sociology of Law from the University of Alberta. She’s worked as an adjunct sociology professor at the University of Lethbridge, and chaired its planned giving committee.

In a news release President and CEO Dr. Paula Burns said Ailsby will bring an “open, collaborative, and energetic approach.”

Ailsby has been appointed to a three year term. She succeeds Randy Jespersen, who completed six years in the role in December.
