Jun 30, 2017 | 3:42 PM

TABER – Two CF-188 Hornets will make a special flyby over Taber Saturday afternoon (July 1) to mark Canada’s 150th birthday.

The aircrafts will be making their way from Athbasca, all the way down to the southern part of the province. They should be arriving in Taber around 3:47-pm, give or take approximately 15 minutes.

The Town of Taber says the best vantage point for onlookers will be at Confederation Park, located next to the town office.

A media release from the Royal Canadian Air Force notes that the planes will fly no lower than 500 feet above the highest obstacle in their flight path.
