Bulls bounce back at home

LETHBRIDGE — The Bulls rebounded from a heated loss in Medicine Hat, and went on to win part two of a home-and-home series.

The Bulls were 11-6 winners over the Mavericks Sunday, July 23 at Spitz Stadium. Ryan Pouwells hit two home runs for Lethbridge, and Alex Bishop also homered.

Starting pitcher Brady Moxham had the win, after allowing five runs on nine hits over 6 and one-third innings. Closer Dawson Moser made the save.

The Bulls’ record improved to 25-19 with the victory, and the team remained in second place in the Western Division with a playoff berth clinched.
