OKOTOKS — It appears the Okotoks Dawgs will be the team to beat in this year’s Western Major Baseball League playoffs.

The Lethbridge Bulls were shut out by the Dawgs 6-0 in Okotoks Tuesday, July 25. Bulls starter Landen Bourassa left the game after the fifth inning, despite allowing only seven hits. Five of the six Dawgs runs were unearned.

The Lethbridge batters were held to just five hits.

The division-leading Dawgs have now won seven in a row. A capacity crowd of 5,686 fans packed Seaman Stadium for the game.
