Milk River water quality advisory lifted
MILK RIVER – Alberta Health Services has lifted the water quality advisory in place for the last month for the Milk River at Writing-on-Stone Provincial Park.
The advisory went into effect in early July because elevated levels of fecal coliform in the water, made it unsafe for wading or swimming.
AHS reminds people though, never to drink or cook with untreated water directly from any lake, river, or reservoir at any time.
