Fort Macleod RCMP investigating break and enter, theft at waste water treatment plant

FORT MACLEOD – Fort Macleod RCMP are asking for your help, as they investigate a break and enter and theft at the town’s waste water treatment plant.

Sometime overnight between Wednesday (Sept. 6) and Thursday (Sept. 7), suspects entered the compound through a perimeter fence and went into the building, where numerous items were stolen.

One of the items stolen was a meter reader, which police say is unique and could be identifiable if found discarded or offered up for sale.

Anyone who may have witnessed suspicious individuals or vehicles around the waste water treatment plant in Fort Macleod are asked to contact the RCMP at 403-553-7200.
