Addison named WHL Player of the Week

LETHBRIDGE – A five-point night helped earn Hurricanes defenceman Calen Addison WHL Player of the Week honours.

Addison was given the honour for the week ending Dec. 3 after recording one goal and seven assists over four games. Addison had two assists against Portland Nov. 28, one goal Dec. 1 against Brandon, and five assists in a 7-2 win over Edmonton Dec. 3.

The Brandon native is the third-highest-scoring player for Lethbridge, and fourth overall for WHL defencemen, with six goals and 26 assists over 27 games.

Addison is the first Hurricane, and first player from the Central Division, to be named Player of the Week in the 2017-18 season.
