CLARESHOLM – RCMP have released a composite sketch of a suspect who may be related to a home invasion last Saturday, around 9 p.m. (Jan. 20)
Town Councillor Donna Courage says a man broke into her home about 15 minutes after her friends left her for the evening, allegedly assaulted her, and told her to “keep quiet, leave town.” She suffered a black eye, and various cuts and bruises in the incident.
Police say the man is described as caucasian, heavier set, tall, 35-40 years old, clean shaven with light coloured eyes.  He was wearing a black toque and jacket.
They believe this was a targeted incident, but will not speculate on the reason.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Claresholm RCMP 403-625-4445 or Crimestoppers immediately.
