Hurricanes to face Brandon in second round of playoffs

LETHBRIDGE -  A game-six over-time loss put an end to the hockey season for the Medicine Hat Tigers Sunday night. The result - is the Hurricanes will play the Brandon Wheat Kings in the next round, with home-ice advantage, which gets underway this Friday, April 6, at the Enmax Centre.
The first two games of the series have been set, while the remaining schedule has yet to be confirmed. Hurricanes will however host Game 5 and Game 7, if they are required.

Game 1 – Brandon at Lethbridge – Friday, April 6th, 7:00pm

Game 2 – Brandon at Lethbridge – Saturday, April 7th, 7:00pm

The Hurricanes took out the Red Deer Rebels in five games, after a 6-4 win on Saturday night, to advance to Round 2 for the second straight season.

The Canes will face the Wheat Kings in the post-season for the fourth time in their history. It will be the first time since the 2008 WHL Playoffs. The ‘Canes hold an all-time 1-2 record in three series against Brandon.
