EDMONTON – the provincial government has rolled out a new round of what it calls instant savings for energy saving products.

It says in a release that consumers can get up to $15 back on things like programmable thermostats, low-flow shower heads, and LED lights. Yard lights with motion sensors have been added this year.

The program is funded by carbon levy money.

The government says last year, people across Alberta received $24-million worth of instant rebates on 9.5-million products.
