LETHBRIDGE – Juno Award winner and Canadian jazz icon Holly Cole will headline this year’s Lethbridge Jazz and Blues Festival June 16 at the Enmax Centre.

Event Vice-President Don Robb says Cole has been a well-known name for the last 30 years around th world, and has released numerous albums.

“She’s a terrific singer. She creates her arrangements and the whole style thing which really works. I remember seeing her in concert many years ago and it was just awesome.”

The 8th annual event, which begins June 8 and goes until the 16th, is something Robb says everyone behind the scenes has worked hard on, to make sure the music is superb every time.

“They’re great artists who really like to engage with the audience. And so, if you’re not sure which event to take in, take in all of the events, or pick one and go to it. It will be worth your time.”
