Apr 17, 2018 | 5:14 AM

LETHBRIDGE – The Hurricanes will face three of their former teammates in the WHL’s Eastern Conference Final.

The Swift Current Broncos advanced with a 6-0 win over the regular season champion Moose Jaw Warriors in Game 7 of their conference semi-final. Giorgio Estephan scored a power play goal, while Stuart Skinner made 25 saves for the shutout.

Estephan, Skinner, and Tanner Nagel were all traded by Lethbridge to Swift Current in a blockbuster deal Jan. 9, one day before the trade deadline. The deal brought Logan Barlage, Logan Flodell, Owen Blocker, and Matthew Stanley to the Hurricanes.

The Broncos will have home-ice advantage, with games one and two set for the Credit Union iPlex in Swift Current Friday, April 20 and Saturday, April 21. The series moves to the ENMAX Centre in Lethbridge for games three and four, Tuesday, April 24 and Wednesday, April 25. Tickets have gone on sale for those games.

If necessary, game five will be Saturday, April 28 in Swift Current, game six in Lethbridge Monday, April 30, and game seven back in Swift Current Tuesday, May 1.

This will be the first playoff matchup ever between the Hurricanes and Broncos.
