Charges pending after Blood Tribe man sent to Calgary with serious injuries

STANDOFF –– Blood Tribe Police and EMS were called to a serious incident in Standoff around 7:30 Saturday (Apr 28) evening.  A Blood Tribe man was found suffering serious injuries as the result of an altercation with another man who is known to him.

The victim was transported to Foothills Hospital in Calgary where he is in the intensive care unit.

Blood Tribe Police continue to investigate but have a Blood Tribe man in custody awaiting formal charges.
