AAA Hurricanes win bronze at Telus Cup

SUDBURY, Ont. – The Lethbridge AAA Hurricanes are returning home from the Telus Cup with bronze medals.

The Hurricanes won the bronze medal game 4-0 over the Toronto Young Nationals Sunday, April 29. Carl Tetachuk made 20 saves for the shutout, and Kadyn Chabot had a pair of goals.

Other goals were scored by Carson Dyck and Ronan Seeley. Zack Stringer had three assists. Earlier, Seeley was named tournament MVP, and Stringer the top forward.

The Notre Dame Hounds from Wilcox, Sask. won the final, 5-1 over the Cantonniers de Magog from Quebec. Notre Dame was undefeated during the tournament. Magog defeated Lethbridge in Saturday’s semi-final.
