Westbound lane closures on Whoop-Up Drive beginning Saturday

LETHBRIDGE – Starting on Saturday, May 5, the westbound lanes on Whoop-Up Drive will be closed from Blackfoot Road to the Métis Trail roundabout.

A release from the city states this closure is required for the removal of old asphalt and the reconstruction of the base asphalt level.

Two-way traffic will be maintained using the eastbound lanes, but drivers are asked to use caution in the construction zone and follow the posted signs.

This closure is expected to remain in effect for approximately two weeks.
