COALDALE --  RCMP need information regarding a theft that occurred sometime between Friday, May 11 and Saturday morning, May 12.

During those hours, a Coaldale fire fighter had his protective equipment stolen from a Coaldale Fire Department truck which was parked in his own garage in Coaldale.

Culprit(s) entered the garage and took a set of bunker gear (pants and coat), a set of boots, a black helmet, a Motorola radio and assorted tools.

It's important that this equipment be returned immediately, as it is used on a regular basis for the protection and safety of Coaldale and area residents.

Anyone with information should call Coaldale RCMP directly at (403) 329-5080 (rural) or (403) 345-5552 (municipal).  If you want to remain anonymous, you can contact Crime Stoppers by phone at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), or by internet at www.tipsubmit.com.

You do not have to reveal your identity to Crime Stoppers, and if you provide information to Crime Stoppers that leads to an arrest(s), you may be eligible for a cash reward.
