Lethbridge County to deal with sight line obstructions at roadway intersections
LETHBRIDGE – Lethbridge County has begun a sight line clearing program aimed at elevating the level of safety at roadway intersections in the county.
A release states that numerous intersections in the county don’t have adequate sight lines for drivers to safely cross intersecting roads.
Lethbridge County is now in the process of pursuing the elimination of blind corners and overgrown sight lines at intersections throughout the county. Intersections with sight line issues have been identified and the County has prioritized them based on the greatest safety hazard to the travelling public.
Landowners with identified obstructions will be contacted by administration in the coming weeks, and the County says to help ensure roads are safe they greatly appreciate compliance and co-operation by landowners.
