Project Paintbrush continuing to paint a difference in Lethbridge

Jun 2, 2018 | 8:37 AM

LETHBRIDGE – Volunteer Lethbridge’s Project Paintbrush helps paint exterior projects for seniors and people in the community who are physically and financially unable to complete the work themselves.

Through sponsorships and volunteer teams, a visible difference is made in one day, and over 300 volunteers completed 26 projects in 2017.

Volunteer Lethbridge included a couple of comments from homeowners who benefitted from Project Paintbrush in a release:

“Project Paintbrush and the wonderful volunteers did such a good job, a job I couldn’t do or afford to do. I will sing their praises forever because they were a godsend to me. It also showed me what a wonderful organization they are for those in need,” one read.

“Since I moved here, I’ve been ashamed of how shabby my yard (fence) looked,” another continued. “I’m totally impressed at the great job, I’m struggling to stay independent and appreciate the help.”

Any homeowners looking to complete an assessment process can visit here for the application form or call Project Paintbrush at 403-332-4320.

Sponsorships and donations help provide the financial/product resources to make the project possible.

Volunteers and Corporate Teams, which organizers say offer great team building opportunities while making a difference in the community.
