BROOKS – The Lethbridge Bulls rallied to force extra innings, only to give up a walk-off home run in the tenth, in a 6-5 loss to the Brooks Bombers Tuesday, June 5.

After going down 5-0 in the second inning, a solo home run by Blake MacDonald got the rally going in the sixth, followed by a four-run ninth inning to tie things up. But Damian Rodriguez of the Bombers homered on the first pitch in the bottom of the tenth.

Kale Penner was tagged with the loss, after relieving starter Liam Sabiston in the seventh and allowing just one hit prior to the tenth.

The Bulls, now 1-4, visit the Medicine Hat Mavericks Wednesday, June 6. Their home opener is Friday against Okotoks.
