Bulls wrap up road trip with loss in Medicine Hat

MEDICINE HAT – The Lethbridge Bulls their six-game road start to the season with an 8-5 loss to the Medicine Hat Mavericks Wednesday, June 6.

The Bulls fell behind early, trailing 6-0 after three innings. One bright spot for the team was Carter Witbeck’s two-run homer in the seventh inning. Witbeck drove in three runs in total and has six RBIs on the season.

Starting pitcher Ben Erwin took the loss, allowing eight runs on 11 hits and just one strikeout over five and two-thirds innings. Erwin is now 0-2.

The Bulls are now 1-5 as they prepare for their home opener against Okotoks Friday, June 8 at newly-renovated Spitz Stadium.
