LETHBRIDGE – The Bulls finally made their 2018 home debut at renovated Spitz Stadium Friday, June 8 – but still couldn’t achieve an elusive second win for the season.

The Bulls lost to the Okotoks Dawgs 6-4, to fall to 1-6 on the season. A two-out double by J.T. Patterson in the ninth drove in what turned out to be the winning run for the Dawgs, who improved to 4-2.

Hank Forrest and Brett Mercier of the Bulls each recorded a pair of doubles. Starting pitcher Jaden Griffin had the loss, allowing three earned runs on five hits over seven innings, striking out eight batters and walking three.

Attendance was 1,048 on a sunny and warm evening.
