Family Centre benefits from another successful McHappy Day

LETHBRIDGE – Family Centre is celebrating the success of its ten-year relationship with Lethbridge McDonald’s Restaurants, after another McHappy Day.

Members of the community helped raise $70,102 during this year’s McHappy Day, which contributes one dollar from each hot beverage, Happy Meal, and Big Mac sold.

Eighty per cent of the proceeds raised in Lethbridge go to Family Centre, with the remaining 20 per cent to Ronald McDonald House of Southern Alberta, a facility that provides the families of young hospital patients a home away from home.

Family Centre is a non-profit organization that provides programs and services such as referrals, early literacy, parent education, support services and counselling, and developmental screening.
