Four-run eighth inning pushes Bulls to victory at Okotoks

OKOTOKS – The Lethbridge Bulls came out on top of a seesaw battle, defeating the Okotoks Dawgs 8-6 Tuesday, June 26.

The Bulls scored four of their runs in the eighth inning, including a three-run homer by third baseman Dylan Borman. Borman ended the night with two home runs and six runs batted in. Kaleb Warden had three hits and two runs.

Kale Penner was awarded the win after relieving starter Jaden Griffin, who allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits in six innings, striking out ten. Penner gave up one run on two hits in the seventh. Talon Derrick came in for the final two innings, giving up one more run on three hits for the save.

The Bulls improved to 8-12. Their next game is Thursday, June 28, the first of back-to-back games at home to Swift Current.
