Bulls earn big Canada Day win over Weyburn

LETHBRIDGE – The Bulls closed out their four-game Canada Day Weekend homestand on a winning note, with a 14-4 victory over the Weyburn Beavers Sunday, July 1.

Lachlan Mayo and Dylan Borman both hit solo home runs for the Bulls. Mayo, Borman, and Ashton Roy all ended the night with two RBIs, with runs also driven in by Hank Forrest, Kaleb Warden, Jesse Hilyard, and Carter Witbeck.

Starter Andrew Grieder allowed three runs on seven hits over five and two-thirds innings for the win, in front of a sellout Canada Day crowd of 2,240.

The Bulls are now 9-15, with their next game Tuesday, July 3 at Brooks.
