Bulls lose at home to Moose Jaw

LETHBRIDGE – A five-run seventh inning helped lead the Moose Jaw Miller Express to an 11-3 victory over the Bulls Sunday, July 15 at Spitz Stadium.

Lethbridge never held a lead during the game, ending the first inning tied 1-1. But Moose Jaw scored three runs in the third, and never looked back. Lachlan Mayo hit a solo home run in the third, with RBIs also coming from Kaleb Warden and Dylan Borman.

The Bulls went through five pitchers, with starter Luc Hebert being tagged with the loss after giving up four runs, three of them earned, on seven hits through six innings.

With the loss, before 825 home fans on a sunny and warm afternoon, Lethbridge has a record of 14-22. They’re in fourth place in the Western Division, 15 games behind first-place Medicine Hat.
