Lethbridge Police seek suspects after man beaten and robbed

LETHBRIDGE – Police are hoping the public can help them identify four suspects they believe were involved in a violent robbery and assault Tuesday, July 17.

According to police around 10 p.m. that night, a man was walking in the area of Mayor Magrath Drive and 3 Avenue South when he was approached by two men. The men asked the victim to buy them alcohol, but he refused.

One man then held down the victim, while another beat him until he lost consciousness. When he awoke, he found that his wallet and other personal property had been stolen.

Police say two males and another male and female then used the victim’s bank card to make multiple purchases.
