SAEA hosting Heritage Day celebration at the Enmax Centre

LETHBRIDGE – The annual Heritage Day Celebration put on by the Southern Alberta Ethnic Association is taking place at the Enmax Centre on Monday, Aug. 6.

In a release, the association says there will be food, entertainment, great door prizes, face painting and crafts for the kids from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. 

Tickets can be purchased at the door, and it’s $5 for adults, $2 for kids and kids under three get in for free.

Every year, the SAEA gathers a diverse mosaic of the people who live in Lethbridge and Southern Alberta and help to share each others’ cultures through food, music and dance. 

The Southern Alberta Ethnic Association has been supporting multiculturalism in Southern Alberta for over 40 years.

The association states it has been working to make a more inclusive society and hopes to enhance physical, psychological, and social environments to create a healthy and successful community.
