Aug 6, 2018 | 8:35 AM

LETHBRIDGE – The Lethbridge Junior Bulls were defeated 14-3 by the Quebec champion Mirabel on Sunday, Aug. 5, dropping the Canadian Junior Little League Championship at Spitz Stadium.

Quebec’s pitching held Lethbridge to just four hits, though they did cash the three runs. On the flip side, Quebec had nine hits for 14 runs.

Mirabel’s aggressive base running made things difficult for the Junior Bulls, who committed 10 fielding errors, five of them in the second inning alone.

The game ended after five innings, as the 10-run rule came into effect, and it was the sixth time in seven games the Mirabel won by that rule.
