LETHBRIDGE – The Hurricanes have reduced their roster by nine players, as training camp continues.

On Tuesday, Sept. 4, the team released forward Brendan Stafford, who was signed in April 2017 as an undrafted 17-year-old. In 36 games last season, Stafford had one goal and five assists, with 18 penalty minutes.

Eight other players were reassigned to their midget teams: forwards Drew Englot, Jett Jones, Nick Dorrington, Jacob Boucher, and Zack Stringer; defensemen Joe Arntsen and Jonah Regier; and goalie Bryan Thomson.

The roster now consists of 15 forwards, 10 defensemen, and three goaltenders.
