City of Lethbridge hosting two interactive sessions on operating budget priorities

Sep 11, 2018 | 9:45 AM

LETHBRIDGE – If you ran the City of Lethbridge, what would your priorities be for City services? That’s what City staff and members of City Council want to hear at two upcoming interactive sessions.

City Council is setting a new four-year operating budget this fall, and now is the time for Lethbridge residents to let them know how their service priorities would affect City spending.

The City’s operating budget is determined by the municipal services that are provided, things like park maintenance and snow clearing.

Two different sessions are being held, and any interested residents can RSVP by reaching out to Karen.Carney@lethbridge.ca before Friday, Sept. 14 to confirm the date and time of the session they wish to attend.

Wednesday, Sept. 19 – ENMAX Centre Lounge

– 9 to 11 a.m.
– 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
– 5 to 7 p.m.

Wednesday, Sept. 26 – CASA

– 9 to 11 a.m.
– 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
– 5 to 7 p.m.

Residents can also complete an online questionnaire the City launched last week to offer their input on City services as well.
