Pedestrian collision sends child to Calgary hospital

LETHBRIDGE — Police were called to a pedestrian collision on the north side late Saturday (Oct 6) afternoon.   The incident happened around 5:45 along Black Wolf Blvd., North.  

An initial investigation indicates a Ford F150 struck an eight-year-old child, who sustained injuries and was transported to a Calgary hospital.

Police have determined alcohol is not a factor.  The Serious Collison Investigation Unit is conducting an on-going investigation.
