LPS investigating after Lethbridge woman attacked in her garage

LETHBRIDGE – An investigation has been launched by the Lethbridge Police Service, after a 24-year-old city woman was allegedly attacked by an unknown individual in her garage.

According to LPS, the woman arrived at her home along the 2200 block of 18 Avenue South around 10:00 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6. After noticing that her garage door was open, the woman went inside, where she was grabbed from behind by the attacker, who then struck her head against the wall and fled the scene.

It was noted by police that the victim suffered minor injuries.

A K9 track was initiated by police, however the results were negative.
