Lethbridge Corn Maze hosting 19th Annual Thanksgiving Fundraiser

Oct 8, 2018 | 7:37 AM

LETHBRIDGE – Every Thanksgiving, the Slingerland family at the Lethbridge Corn Maze find opportunities to give back to the community.

This year is no different, as the Lethbridge Corn Maze will be donating all proceeds from their entrance fees on Thanksgiving Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, to Rehoboth Christian Ministries.

The Maze will be open from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

There will also be a BBQ fundraiser of pork on a bun today.

“In addition to supporting four children through World Vision, every year we support a good cause through our Thanksgiving fundraiser,” owner Theo Slingerland stated.

The money raised at the event will go towards new perennials, the sensorium substrate and the pour and play flooring for the park at Rehoboth’s Coaldale location.

Rehoboth Christian Ministries is an Alberta non-profit society, formed in 1976 by members of the Christian community.

They offer support services to people with developmental disabilities and their families and also provide personal support, advocacy, public education, opportunities for personal growth and meaningful participation in society.
